Switzerland's Lara Gut-Behrami can not only be happy about the overall victory in St. Anton am Arlberg, but also about a week's summer holiday in Zauchensee.

January 10, 2021. – The overall winner of the Downhill and Super-G of the Audi FIS Ski World Cup Women Lara Gut-Behrami (SUI) can already look forward to a nice summer holiday in Zauchensee after the frosty temperatures in St. Anton am Arlberg. The athlete will spend a week together with a companion in the Salzburger Land.

Peter Mall (head of the organising committee) is happy with the winner of the Special Award. Due to the current Corona regulations, no delegation could travel from Altenmarkt-Zauchensee for the award ceremony. OC and Bergbahnen boss of Zauchensee Veronika Scheffer and downhill world champion and OC president of the World Cup races in Zauchensee Michael Walchhofer warmly congratulate the winner on her success and look forward to welcoming Lara Gut-Behrami in person this summer.

Lara Gut-Behrami achieved an overall best time from downhill (Saturday, 9.01.) and super-G (Sunday, 10.01.2021) of 2.43.22 and was thus only two hundredths of a second faster than Corinne Suter (SUI) in this special classification. Austria's Tamara Tippler (2.43.29) was in third place.

The starting signal for this cooperation was given last year at the World Cup race in Zauchensee. At that time, Frederica Brignone was able to enjoy a voucher for a one-week holiday in St. Anton am Arlberg.

After the successful staging of the Arlberg Kandahar races, St. Anton am Arlberg already wishes its partner World Cup venue Zauchensee all the best for the women's events in January 2022.
